End-to-end encryption

Your invoices, company details, and expenses are encrypted on your device before they are stored in our cloud database. We cannot read this encrypted business content. Your password is used to derive an encryption key that stays on your device (and in your browser session while logged in). If you lose your password, we may not be able to recover encrypted data. Some account metadata (such as email, subscription status, and document counts) remains unencrypted so the service can function.

We may use the collected information for the following purposes:

• To provide, maintain, and improve BizBook, including processing subscriptions and delivering digital service access.
• To communicate with you regarding your account, purchases, support requests, and service-related notices.
